2006-05-06: This is a reminder that up-to-date announcements are now posted in the community forum.
2006-05-01: On Wednesday, 5/3/06, we will begin eliminating, from the Door Access System, all FOBS that have not been re-programmed with 6-digit access codes. More details are available in the community forum.
2006-04-06: On Thursday, April 13th, at 7:30 PM, in the community room on the second floor of the building, representatives from Spaulding & Slye will discuss the North Point Development Project .
2006-01-12: Glass Factory has its first Board of Trustees. The elected board members have been announced by Barkan Management. Please check your mailbox or the forum.
2005-12-28:

PLEASE VOTE!!!!Tonight on December 28th, Barkan Management held an election to vote for the members of the trustees. The elected unit owners will establish the "Board of Trustees" for the Glass Factory, and at that time, the control and decision makings of the building (maintenance, vendor selection, etc.) will be transfered from Crescent Heights to the residents.

Unfortunately, we did not have the required attendance (and proxies) of 51% participation to make the election a formal one.

Therefore, if you have not voted yet, please do!! The election will not be valid until enough unit owners cast their ballots, and until then, Crescent Heights will retain control of the building. For instructions on casting your votes, please contact Bill Donovan from Barkan Management: WDonovan@barkanco.com.

2005-12-16: Christopher has posted an update regarding Crescent Heights progress in repairing the exterior of the building against water leaks. Please check the forum under "Trustee Announcements".
2005-12-08: A letter regarding the nominations of candidates for Board of Trustees position has been sent. A copy of the form is available for download.
2005-12-06: 2006 budget for building management and your new maintenance fee have been sent to each resident. A copy of the 2006 budget is available for download.
2005-11-30: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: The ad-hoc committee has been reviewing the 2006 budget with Barkan Management. The committee has scheduled a meeting to discuss some of the major items regarding the 2006 operating budget on Monday, December 5th at 7:30PM in the media center. Please try your best to attend. This meeting's goal is to discuss the specific budget items that were deemed as important. Please note that this meeting will not be discussing each budget item in detail.
2005-11-02: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: In order for unit owners and residents to understand the roles for the transition and creation of the Condo Association, a Q&A session will be held on Tuesday, November 15th at 7:30 PM in the Media Center. Bill Donovan, a representative of Barkan Management, will be attending to address any concerns and answer questions we have regarding the transfer of responsibilities as well as the future role of Barkan Management.

We are trying to consolidate residents' concerns and questions before the meeting. Please send us 3 to 4 of the biggest concerns/questions that you'd like answered. (glassfactory.residents@gmail.com)

2005-10-15: Community Forum is now open. Share your thoughts and read what other residents have said.

2005-10-14: Heat - Barkan Management has turned on the heat for the building.
As a result A/C has been shut off.

2005-10-12:

Discussion - A group of residents got together in the media room for a discussion
surrounding temporary condo association and cable TV service.
